Slave to the Underworld - Eau de Parfum 100 mL
Eau De Parfum
Slave to the Underworld
Scent Blueprint: Black Orchid * Opium * Venetian Waters * Sacred Incense
At the request of the official MARCHESA CASATI archives (1920’s bonafide muse and millionaire eccentric), we created a candle (SIREN) in her honor. Our Slave to the Underworld eau de parfum is a perfume replica of that scent. With connections to the occult and a special relationship to animals, she inspired the likes of Madonna, Coco Chanel, Man Ray, Galiano for Dior, Lady Gaga, Georgina Chapman's Marchesa line, and Dries Van Noten’s 2016 Winter collection. LEARN MORE ABOUT THE MARCHESA CASATI.
Housed in a crumbling mansion at the edge Venice, the Italian Marchesa hosts yet another fete. The mists rise off the canal, hiding the wild animals that roam her estate. The dark scent of opium intermingles with the sacred scent of incense from a nearby cathedral. Siren is an eccentric, sensual and bewitching scent.
The perfume is housed in a high quality glass atomizer with black cap and packaged in a black circular box, both atomizer and box have beautifully printed, vibrant labels. In keeping with our literary leanings, our unisex eau de parfum is protected in its box with the shredded New York Times. A commitment to paying for quality writing and news. Once read, we shred.
